Business survey respondents echoed themes discussed by our focus groups

Housing cost and long commutes are negatively impacting regional competitiveness. Business respondents indicated key quality of place metrics – including lack of affordable housing and traffic congestion – are negatively impacting their ability to attract and retain employees in the region.
